Finally again a female artist! Pfeeeew this feels me up with relief really!
I would prefer to show off female artists more often but it just doesn’t happen. No real good reason for it, just a desire to study a certain artist with children at certain time, just a simple logical sequence, nothing more. I’m not a real fighter for women, no, I am not a real feminist. I’d like to be but I am just not. I don’t know why, I guess I forget to be. The only excuse I have is that I am a woman myself. I guess that is a good enough one? Or maybe I am tamed?? Awful!! I am raising two girls after all, I might need to get better!!
Anyhow, when we do a female artist I just feel it is so right and I am on a better path!
SO! We are pleased to present cardboard version sculptures inspired by amazing Barbara Hepworth and her organic shaped landscape sculptures. We studied and enjoyed her work immensely and also loved the b&w pics of her, chisel and a ciggy in her hands. A really great woman, a really great work, a really great project. And our sculptures look really pretty live.
